This website is part of the Whistleblower service provided by Stopline Pty Ltd to Catholic Health Care employees. As a trusted provider of aged, health and community services, it’s important that CHL has processes in place that enable its people to confidentially report matters of serious misconduct so that appropriate action can be taken.
This website outlines for you the various means available for reporting matters of serious misconduct including via App, Web, Phone, Fax or Letter. “Serious Misconduct” means any corrupt, unethical or illegal practice that may include:
- Mistreatment of residents, clients or patients (eg Elder abuse);
- Serious neglect of duty;
- Serious cases of Bullying or Sexual Harassment;
- Extreme inefficiency or incompetence;
- Bribery, corruption, fraud and other illegal practices;
- Theft of Catholic Healthcare property;
- Drunkenness (safety) in the workplace;
- Substantial mismanagement or waste of Catholic Healthcare resources;
- Conduct that creates substantial risk to the health and safety of people or the environment;
- Serious breaches of Privacy eg the inappropriate sharing of information relating to CHL employees, Resident, Clients or Patient; and
- Any other conduct that causes or could cause serious detriment to the reputation of Catholic Healthcare, its Residents, Clients, Patients, Employees or to the communities that it serves.

What Services are Stopline providing for CHL?
Stopline provide a wholly independent , confidential option for reporting matters of serious misconduct relating to Catholic Healthcare. Stopline will capture details of the matter being reported and will then forward details to the nominated Lead Responsible Person within CHL who will then initiate an investigation into the claims made. At CHL, the Lead Responsible Person is the General Manager, Human Resources. Whistleblowers have the option to disclose their identity when making a report or to remain anonymous.
